POST BY PETE SWANSON
Members,

In light of COVID that we have been dealing with for the past couple of years, we have not been able to really get together as a club. Hopefully this summer can be different. We would like to try and pull off a picnic June 25th with a rain date of June 26th. All are welcomed to join us for hopefully a good time and good flying.

It is no easy task to prep for such a gathering which is why I am asking for help to pull this off.

Set up starts at 7:00am with VOLUNTEERS followed at 8:00am by bagels and coffee. Lunch will begin around 12:00pm.

VOLUNTEERS will be needed for setting up tables, tent, blue fencing and pilot stations. This being said, volunteers will also be needed for cleaning up after the get together.
Thanks to all the volunteers in advance, could not do without your help.

Going back to COVID, this get together will be a bit different than past picnics.
To limit everyone from handling all the food, we are going to supply Hero Sandwiches and snack bag sizes of chips/popcorn.

As always bring your own chairs and drinks and anything else you feel you need to make this an enjoyable day.

Hoping to see a lot of you,
Pete Swanson

Hi Pete
My day opened up and will be able to make it for the picnic. I know you mentioned I don’t need to get anything but how about water melon salad? I can get that and cans of seltzer.
Also, I’ll be bringing along a friend.

Howday all,

Been looking at the weather and it looks like there is a possibility for some rain. Is the picninc moving forward, or is there a Go-No Go date that there will be a final decision.
